STUDENTS WORKING IN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Students who have been working in a governmental accounting or finance position for at least six months in Washington State and pursuing higher education are eligible for a tuition reimbursement scholarship of up to $2,500. This scholarship will be granted on a first come first served basis.
To be eligible for the scholarship students must be:
Attending an accredited community college, 4-year college or university
Working in a governmental accounting or finance position in Washington State for at least six months.
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, economics, public administration, or finance and have an overall GPA of at least 3.0.
The student’s employer must be willing to receive funds from WFOA on behalf of the student.
Applicants must submit an essay identifying how they would benefit by receiving the scholarship and how it would help support their overall career goals.
